This place is a relaxed spot for sightseeing with friendly staff; I completely recommend it and would definitely return.

Helpful staff, fairly clean hotel, spotless and extremely spacious room. Central heating, TV, and a seating area in the room and the exceptionally comfortable bed. Contemporary atmosphere. Honestly nothing to complain about.

The owner was helpful and the room was basic but clean and the bed was actually quite comfortable although no air conditioning.

Stayed here in the end of September which is the end of the season and would not recommend to anyone else at this time of year. There was no food available from the hotel and everywhere in La Porge was closed during our entire trip. You need a car to stay here but would recommend people stay in Lacanau Ocean as there is much more to do and more choices for food etc. The "garden" looks nothing like it does in the pictures it is completely overgrown and un-kept.

This place needs a full restauration of building and interior. All is very old and absolutely not clean. Breakfast is very poor.

The rooms here are quite spacious and come with all the essentials like central heating 🌡️, a TV with many channels 📺, and a desk for studying or working ✏️.

The Owners were very friendly and supportive. Service was good. Excellent food! Nice location and can be found very easily. A bit old fashioned but charming (excluding rooms). Near to a beautiful sandy beach (10 km).

Rooms could use a bit of renovation (esp. Carpet, bathroom); nevertheless, it was pretty clean.

Friendly staff in a very relaxed setting. Lovely pool and spa area with a bbq that would be great in the summer.

The room at Hotel Du Porge was amazing! It had a modern design with a comfy bed and a flat-screen TV. I loved the private terrace where I could relax and enjoy the view. The bathroom was clean and had complimentary toiletries. As a backpacker, I felt like I was staying in a fancy hotel!

Personally, I didn't really like the soundproofing in the twin room. But hey, that's just my opinion.

My room with balcony was spotless. A microwave oven, tea and coffee making facilities, and refrigerators were an advantage.

the rooms were well maintained and I especially enjoyed having a little balcony. the owners were extremely helpful and recommended some great nearby restaurants. the air conditioning in the room worked perfectly, which was a relief during the hot weather. the lady on reception was very friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable. the room itself was comfortable and clean, and we had a great night's sleep. the breakfast served at the hotel was delicious, and it was great that it was available for a long time, allowing us to have a leisurely morning. I also have to mention the adorable dog that greeted us at the entrance of the hotel - he had a little pink tuft on his head from all the kisses his owner gives him. So cute!

No negatives from this place. 😊.

Ample parking, spotless rooms & bathrooms, amazing owners, convenient location for Bordeaux, delicious breakfast.

The breakfast buffet was just heaven, I couldn't decide if I should eat inside or by the pool while enjoying the beautiful views of the woods. Free WiFi was a plus, so I could share my poolside selfies instantly.

Who needs a fully functional restaurant when you can play roulette and rely on Google to find a decent eatery nearby?
